Romelio
Hernandez as a Guest Speaker to the FCIB Working Seminar in Arizona
|
| |
|
| |
Scottsdale, AZ,
January 22, 2004 – HMH Legal Partner Romelio Hernandez gave his
presentation today on "How
to Avoid Uncollectibles on International Credit Sales," during the
second day of the working seminar hosted by FCIB in Arizona: "Latin
America, Innovative Risk Mitigation & Collection Techniques."
The presentation by Mr. Hernandez was part of a morning discussion and
workshop on “Effective Pre-Shipment and Post-Shipment Strategies for
Collecting on Overdue Accounts.” Among other highly recognized
speakers were Marty Goldman from the Law Offices of Marty F. Goldman,
and David Greenberg, Divisional Vice President of International
Operations of ABC-Amega, Inc.
“We think that by employing the techniques learned today, US and
foreign companies overall will be better suited for conducting credit
sales into Latin America in a way that reduces risk of not getting
paid if legal action is pursued,” said Romelio Hernandez.
Mr. Hernandez and HMH Legal have been providing counseling and
seminars to foreign companies who are currently selling or starting to
sell goods to Mexican companies on credit.
